Hi guys! It’s already fall, can you believe it? Time went by so fast! I know what’s next, and I don’t want to think about it—not yet (WINTER!) But before focusing on the colder season, let’s talk about summer first. I know I haven’t posted a blog throughout the summer season and I think I owe you guys some update. Well last summer I have been GOMO. GOMO stands for Going Out More Often and I think summer was the perfect time to make fun experiences and new memories.
One of the things I did last summer was to explore the trails of Edmonton and St. Albert. I had a very hard time going out of our house during winter cause I couldn’t walk! The snow was dreadful. I was so happy I got the chance to see what the said cities have to offer. When it comes to which trail is better, I could say St. Albert! Not so sure about this but I think that is really what the city is known for anyway. Fortunately, I can still walk on these trails for few more weeks.
I also got the chance to go at the Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall. Sure, some would find it lame but I love swimming. I kind of believe I was born to become a swimmer. LOL. I love the water! I had an awesome time at the wave pool but I didn’t like the slides too much. So sad I haven’t taken some photos!
I also planned going to this year’s Heritage Festival but I didn’t get the chance to do it because of other circumstances. I have been there last year and I had so much fun seeing different cultures and traditions. There’s always a next time and I’ll make sure I’ll be there next year.
Even summer has come to an end, colder season should not stop us from GOMO. Especially now, Halloween is coming! How about supporting a local Halloween party? Or much better creating your own Halloween event?
In that case, I highly recommend checking out Eventbrite’s RSVP onlinepage. They support ticket sales and a variety of other features, including discounted options for non profits. You can also check on their website some upcoming concerts and events near your area. Let’s squash the habit of staying at home and make ourselves productive by GOMO.
How did you make your summer memorable? How about your plans for fall? I’ll be glad to hear from you! Comment below and let me know what you think 🙂
