Easy day to night make-up transition

I dream of travelling the world someday and Las Vegas is definitely on my bucket list. Being in the party scene for a time, I would love to see what the city’s known for.  Considering the number of activities you can do in the Sin City, you wouldn’t want your make-up to take so much of your time. That is why today, I am going to share with you an easy day to night make up transition that will keep you stylish while making the most out of your Vegas trip.

Whether you want to go and check the city’s offbeat museums, dine at luxurious restaurants or simply tour around the Strip, a chic and sweet make-up look is always a good idea. During the day, I keep my make-up natural by starting off with a pore eraser followed by a face powder. I barely use blush so I opt to use a bronzer to highlight my face. I also apply a brow contour to achieve nice brows and a mascara for the lashes. With regards to eye make-up, the goal is to make it pop and bright without over powering your look. In this case, I just simply put a light brown eyeliner on the upper lash line and outer corner and a white eyeliner on the lower lash line. I also like having a light and glossy lip colour during the day and I think Wet n Wild shade 9158 is an excellent option!
An edgy and flirty look is something you’ll definitely enjoy as you dance the night away. The technique here is to use bolder, darker colors with proper color blending. To highlight my face, I use a contour set and apply it on both sides of the cheeks, jawline, hairline and sides of the nose, then blend it with an angle brush. Smokey eyes are quick and easy especially if you have a good eyeshadow pallete. I use a black eyeliner on the upper lash line to give my eyes that extra accent. Then I apply mascara again to make it pop even more and if necessary, I also fix my brows.  The best thing about smokey eyes is that they can go with almost any lip colour and at night, a dark and matte lip color is what I usually prefer. Just a little easy on the blush this time as you don’t want to over exaggerate your look. As what I’ve said earlier, I rarely use blush but on times that I feel like it, I’d choose blushes in Taupe and Mauve for this look. For the finale, I apply a little amount of setting spray to protect my make-up from melting fast.
Doing this easy day to night make up transition will surely save you lots of time and focus more on what Vegas is all about.   Also, if you are planning a trip to the Sin City anytime soon, make sure to check out the latest hotel deals and packages at Vegas.com for a hassle free trip 🙂
