A better morning with Leesa

Sleep is so important, especially when you have a busy lifestyle. I work five times a week and having a good sleep affects my productivity throughout the day. Don’t get me wrong, I was never a morning person. I used to sleep all day, almost everyday until I realized I’m not being productive. Something needs to be changed so I worked hard to achieve a healthier sleeping routine. Today, I am going to share with you how I changed my routine, hoping that these can help you with your sleeping problems.

1. Learn to love mornings

For a time, I wasn’t able to see the sun because of sleeping in. I think this was  also the reason why I wanted to change my habits. The first time I got to spend a morning away from my bed was really motivating. I also consider mornings now as a new beginning. So the first step to be a morning person is to simply fall in LOVE with mornings. Go there, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and have fun in the sun. Do something that will motivate you in waking up early.
2. Write a journal before going to sleep

I used to write on my planner and set goals for the day before going to sleep. However, this only led me to over think. My mind won’t stop and ideas are just starting to flow. So if you’re that type of person too, I suggest that you write on a journal instead. Write about positive things that happened throughout your day. Doing this would make you feel nice about what you have achieved and would excite you for the next day.
3. Don’t go to bed hungry or full

Make sure you also monitor how you eat at night. You should not go to bed stuffed as it will be hard to digest. You should not be hungry as well as this might give you discomfort and will keep you awake in the middle of the night.
4. Upgrade your bed
