Ever since I was a kid, I always looked forward to decorating for Christmas. Now that I live in Canada, one of the things I love to decorate is our mantel. The fireplace has also become my favourite spot during winter. That’s why I was pumped when Wayfair Canada asked me to share how I decorate our place for Christmas. I had a few ideas in mind, but in the end I came up with a minimalist theme.
There’s something about minimalism that I will always love. It looks very clean, peaceful, classy and modern. Less is always more for this theme. I bought garlands and used it to cover the base of the mantel. I also purchased pines which I put on a glass vase and on the garland itself. I was thinking of incorporating some of my DIY skills so I decided to make my own calligraphy which somehow turned out to be a wall art.
I am so happy it turned out how I wanted it to be. It looks simple, clean and at the same time, very festive. If you want to achieve this look or if you have other ideas in mind, I highly recommend checking out Wayfair Canada’s website. They offer a huge selection of christmas decor which you will surely love!
