Hello guys! So I’m going to start a thing on this blog. Each month, I am going to write a post about the things that I highly recommend. This January, winter is on it’s full blast. In fact, it says on the news that North America is colder than North Pole this week and I happen to live in Canada so yes, the weather has been really crazy. When the weather gets really cold and dry, I exert more effort in taking care of my skin. So for this month, I listed down some of the things that keeps my winter a little bearable and hopefully you guys would like it too.
1. Buddha Teas: Matcha Green Tea
I am a certified coffee lover. I can even drink 4-5 cups of coffee in a day. However this year, I am trying to cut my coffee intake and started drinking tea instead. I’m actually enjoying it and I don’t feel any guilt cause I can drink it without using sugar. Buddha Teas’ Matcha Green Tea has caffeine on it so I don’t feel deprived at all.
2. Secret Nature’s Face Masks
Since the weather is making my skin dry, I make sure that my face keeps its moisture by using these face masks from Secret Nature. I bought it at Hudson’s Bay for only $3 each. I love that it makes my face glow throughout the day and also, I don’t look pale and dry anymore lol.
3. The Pampery’s Body Lotion
This is the kind of lotion that I would love to use during fall and winter because it’s thicker compared to other lotions. The scent is very refreshing and it also last for the whole day.
4. Beyond Belief’s Winter Blossom Hand Lotion
As you can see, I am all about lotions this month 😛 I love using hand lotion because my hands are dry all the time. This product is one of my winter essential and I make sure I have this in my purse all the time. It has a green apple scent as well which is really good.
5. Sephora’s Baked Sculpt Luminizer
As for my make-up, I try to achieve the dewy look this season because it makes me look fresh and natural. This luminizer from Sephora highlights my cheeks and creates that glow one must have this season.
